Senior Legal Officer II

The job holder is responsible lead the drafting and review of complex legal documents, ensuring compliance with statutory laws and alignment with ECMA’s interests. They will advise senior management and the Board on high-level legal strategies and risk management, represent ECMA in legal forums and negotiations, and mentor junior legal staff, providing guidance and support on legal matters.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute a legality assurance perspective to the department’s strategic and governance processes, particularly to the executive decision-making process
  • Instruct any respective solicitors to conduct legal business on behalf of the department, in accordance with the executive team’s guidance
