ECMA Registers 11.67 Million Current Hibret Bank Shares
11,665,497 of Hibret Bank S.C.’s current shares have been accepted for registration by the Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA), which is a further step in bringing the bank’s securities into the capital market regulatory framework.
Hibret Bank’s Registration Statement was authorized by ECMA on August 6, 2026, in compliance with the Public Offer and Trading of Securities Directive No. 1030/2024 and the Capital Market Proclamation No. 1248/2021.
Shareholders of Hibret Bank already possess the registered shares. A fresh public offering or request to purchase or sell the securities is not made by the registration.
