NIB Insurance 2.8 Million Shares Registered By Ethiopian Capital Market Authority
The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority has approved the registration of securities for Nib Insurance S.C., following a notice issued by the Authority on July 28, 2026. A total of 2,818,305 shares have been registered, comprising 2,618,305 existing shares held by current shareholders and 200,000 new shares approved for offering to them.
The registration was conducted pursuant to Article 75 of the Capital Market Proclamation No. 1248/2021 and Articles 4 and 29 of the Public Offer and Trading of Securities Directive No. 1030/2024, which mandate the registration of publicly offered or sold securities with the Authority. This move marks another step in the ongoing development of Ethiopia’s capital market.
